Step 1 Ask your students to think of different ways of meeting a romantic partner. Step 3 Ask your students to say which way of meeting a new partner is the best and why. Tell them that one student should describe their idea of a dream date while the other student describes their idea of a nightmare date.
Ask them to read the questions and compare them with the questions they came up with.
Step 14 In the same pairs, ask your students to agree on the 10 best questions.
Step 15 Hold a plenary session on the best 10 questions.
Step 7 Put your students into small groups and ask them to discuss the following questions: Speed Dating from Meghann Artes on Vimeo. Ask them to come up with 10 questions they would ask if they went speed-dating.
Step 10 Give the students time to answer the questions and then compare their answers with a partner. Step 12 Get feedback from the whole class and discuss what they think are the best questions.
